Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has expressed that contrary to reports, 668 students were abducted by bandits from the Government Secondary School in Kantara, Katsina State on Friday.

Recall that Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari had said that 333 students were still missing from the school.

Reacting to the report, the former Minister who described the incident as a national tragedy stated that the accurate number of kidnapped students is 668.

He wrote:

“According to the school registrar 668 students were abducted and are still missing after the raid on the school in Katsina statem

668 and NOT 333 as the media are reporting! This is a national tragedy and a total and complete outrage. What is our Government doing about it?”
