Residents of Ibadan, Oyo state have been thrown into darkness as there is a fire outbreak in the power plant of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) at Ayede, Akinyemi, Ring Road on Wednesday.
Reports claim the inferno has engulfed some facilities around the area.
While the fire is still raging at the time of filing this report, efforts are being made to contact Oyo Fire Service to put out the fire.
A video currently trending online captures the moment fire gutted the Ibadan Power Transmission Substation which supplies electricity to three states.
