Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan has taken to social media to advise President Muhammadu Buhari on how to combat crime in the country.
The former presidential spokesperson advised that the President combats poverty in the nation in order to curb the increasing crime rate.
Reno, who had described President Muhammadu Buhari as the highest consumer of FOREX in the country, also pointed out that there are more crimes in poor neighbourhoods than in rich ones.

He tweeted:
POVERTY is the root of most CRIME. That is why there are more CRIMES in POOR neighbourhoods than in RICH ones. General @MBuhari is fighting crime by arresting people. There is a better way. Arrest POVER, Y and you will arrest CRIME. Fix the economy!
