Social media went agog this week after the controversial singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, released his song Soapy, and its accompanying dance-step following his release from EFCC’s custody.

Marley’s Soapy dance met brick walls from some Nigerian celebrities condemned the controversial dance step which mimics a masturbating man.

Queen of Dance, Kaffy,  ridiculed the dance step, describing it as disgusting and immoral.

Unrelenting, the singer fired back at the dancer over her remark. He called her out on his Instagram live video on Thursday, July 4.

Meanwhile, Naira Marley has been accused by Nigerian artiste identified as Chief Ogbonnaya and his crew for allegedly stealing the dance step.

Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile also backed up the singer as he fired back at Joey Akan for calling Naira Marley’s fans, ‘Donkey’. He was also spotted in traffic giving out money to some children dancing in the rain the trending dance step.

The singer, who was born and raised in Agege area of Lagos State Nigeria, relocated to Peckham, England at the age of 11, where he became a voice-over artiste and MC.

Naira Marley came to limelight after the release of his hit track, Issa Goal which features popular indigenous rappers, Olamide and Lil Kesh.
