The Super Falcons of Nigeria have won the 2018 edition of the Total African Women Cup Of Nations Tournament after defeating South Africa 4-3 on penalties after playing a goalless draw in full time.
Super Falcons who were defending their two consecutive title at the continental event had the chance to win the game in normal time after the were awarded a penalty in the 76th minute following a foul on Fransisca Ordega but Asisat Oshoala missed the spot kick.
Following the victory today, they have now won the competition a record of 9 times and are also the first to win it three times consecutively. Amasing isn’t ???
