Lagos Street Carnival: CDQ apologises for not performing

Following CDQ’s inability to perform at the Lagos Street Carnival on Sunday, the Say Mama singer has come out to apologize to his fans in an Instagram post on Monday stating that it came as a result of an order by the state governor to stop the show.

He wrote in a picture he posted with the caption, “To all blessed fans. Absolutely sorry we couldn’t perform last night @ the Lagos street carnival due to order from the Lagos State Governor to stop the show as the environment was becoming in-conducive to the public good. I was actually on time as agreed by the agency and my management.”

The show however, was a success having held at Oba Akran Street in Ikeja with loads acts like Reminisce who gave a spectacular performance.

Earlier, acts like Olamide had uploaded a video on Saturday to confirm his performance at the carnival
