Portugal’s performance was once again reminiscent of their opening game where despite dominating Iceland, they failed to secure a win.
With one match left to play, Portugal need a crucial win to stand a chance of qualifying.
With the match at 0-0 and with ten minutes to go, Austria conceded a silly penalty and it looked as though Portugal would secure their first win. Ronaldo sent the penalty kick onto the bar again as the match finised goalless.
