When a Nigerian parent wants to leave the house but does not want the child to follow him/her, the easiest way to discharge the child is “Go and wear your shoes, I’ll wait.” – Nigerian moms are especially guilty of these one.

No Nigerian parent was a dullard or ever came last. The position almost all Nigerian parents held in their school days was first position – Nigerian parents will never miss the opportunity to regal their kids with tales of how the principal, maths, physics and chemistry teacher loved them because they were so sound academically.
