Nigeria international Aaron Samuel has suffered a shoulder injury, according to his Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F.
The striker injured his right shoulder during a 2-1 win at Shandong Luneng on Sunday. Samuel was replaced in the 62nd minute Michael Herrero.
“Aaron suffered a right shoulder injury in the second half so he was removed,” the club said in a statement.
He club have yet to ascertain the extent of his damage and the duration of his rehabilitation.
