At a press briefing in Abuja today, the spokesperson of the PDP Presidential campaign organization PDPPCO, Femi Fani-Kayode alleged that a Chieftain of the APC, Bola Tinubu has compelled the Vice Presidential candidate of the APC, Prof Osinbajo to swear to an oath that he would resign as Vice President six months after inauguration (if their party wins) so that he can scheme his way into power if Gen Buhari dies in office. What he said below…
“The PDPPCO wishes to use this forum to expose the ungodly plan by Tinubu to seize the presidency of Nigeria by subterfuge. The real reason Tinubu nominated Osinbajo has been made known to us and we hereby offer a public service to the Nigerian people by drawing national attention to it. Tinubu wanted to be running mate to Buhari in spite of the nationwide resentment for Muslim-Muslim ticket that he and Buhari planned to foist on their party men and women. But when he and Buhari could not push through the agenda within the APC, he (Tinubu), after being given the opportunity to nominate a vice presidential candidate, he decided to prop up his stooge in the person of Prof Osinbajo.
Tinubu, according to our information, has compelled Osinbajo to swear to an oath that after six months in office, he would resign as the vice president, in the unlikely event that their party wins. Credible pieces of information at our disposal indicate that Tinubu has perfected plans to come to power through the back door. The ultimate objective of this plot is to ensure that Tinubu becomes president. The script is simple: given the questionable health of Buhari, Tinubu, who is desperate to be president for his own selfish reasons, will simply bid his time in the evil expectation that Buhari will not be able to go the whole hog.” Fani Kayode said.

Dear fellow Citizen of this great Nation, it is high time we tell this man, to stop causing confusion; stop telling lies; stop deceiving himself. We are not fool; we are people of understanding. Somebody should tell this man FFK that he needs deliverance. To me the man is too lousy. PDP cannot do it; APC cannot deliver us; God intervention will set us people. A party rule for 16 Years without break and Nigeria is still crawling; we need to look elsewhere. Stop deceiving us; you starve us with what belongs to us. The Almighty God will judge this nation.

FFK, Okupe, Dame and the rest should know that – “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new”. They should stop attacking people;stop running the opponent down; may be their master enjoy the scenario. GEJ should speak to all his bulldog to channel their energy to something meaningful and productive.

We already knows Tinubu Plans,he tried to do it to Pastor Tunde Bakari which he refused that he can not commit Prejury to his beloved Country, now Prof Osinbajo have already signed his resignation letter ahead but I have a Bad news for APC “Buhari will fail the 4th time & President GEJ will win again & the margin will be much,PDP will win Kaduna,Lagos State & many other States. Tinubu the most corrupt man on earth, the man that enrich himself with our Tax Payers Money & kept Lagosians living in Bondage,he can never come into Power through the back door,he will die & Buhari will still die if their plans for Nigerians are evil.

I advise you all to take him seriously. News of this leaked a while ago from sources at the APC campaign office in Victoria island. The only proof we’d be needing is to ask Osibanjo if he(a pastor) did indeed take an oath, all in the name of politics…smh. Osibanjo is indeed weak in character, as he looks physically. Let’s all be very careful with our choices come May 28th.

Please my fellow Nigerians, let us learn how to accommodate one another. Kayode, are you speaking as a person or as PDP spokesperson? Please, let us allow the APC government to take off before we start to criticize. Even if you have facts as you claim be calm first to see events unfold before you present your facts in a proper channel and forum. And all of you that are wishing our President elect dead should be careful for he is capable of finishing his first four years in office. In truth I am a PDP supporter during last elections but I must say that the members of that party were over using the power of incumbent to the extent that once the executive at all levels supports what your cause or ambition is it is adjudged certain irrespective of the wishes of the majority. I wish to advice every other party including PDP to learn from the past mistakes. Thanks to GEJ who gave us the enabling environment to operate. If it were the past President Obasanjo, PDP should not have lost nor concede defeat. God knows the best for Nigeria.

'Waste of 12 minutes'- Nigerians react to Buhari’s national broadcast

Media users have reacted after President Muhammadu Buhari addressed the nation.

The address took place at 7pm on Thursday, October 22. Two days after End SARS protesters were shot at the Lekki toll gate. The shootings degenerated into chaos.

While speaking to Nigerians today, the president stated that Nigerians “misconstrued” the “promptness” with which the government acted on the End SARS demands “as a sign of weakness”

He added that “human lives have been lost” and properties have been destroyed “in the name of the End SARS protests.”

He then listed the “measures and initiatives” the government has put in place for “youths, women and the most vulnerable groups in our society.”

He then called on youths “to discontinue the street protests.”

After Buhari’s speech, Nigerians took to Twitter to express despair and disappointment. Some pointed out that he didn’t address the Lekki shooting and the lives lost. Most said they have no more hope in Nigeria and expressed eagerness to leave the county.

Maza Maza warehouse: Distribution of COVID-19 palliatives was halted due to #EndSARS protest - Lagos govt

The Lagos State Government has condemned the vandalisation of the warehouse at Mazamaza housing the food palliative packages donated to the government by the Private Sector Coalition against COVID-19 (CACOVID) group.

Recall that a mob on Thursday, October 22, vandalised the warehouse where COVID-19 palliatives are kept at Maza Maza in Amuwo Odofin Local Govt Area and looted palliatives. The warehouse is located on Benster Crescent, popularly known as Monkey village.

A statement signed by the Acting Commissioner, Agriculture, Abisola Olusanya, said the items belong to the Southwest, contrary to social media reports that they are all for Lagos, adding that distribution was on-going but had to be halted due to #EndSARS protests.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had on September 22nd 2020, formally taken receipt of the food palliatives from the CACOVID team meant for distribution to the indigent,” the statement reads.

The State had repackaged its share of the consignment and was distributing it before the protests that have affected activities in the State. The repackaging was being done to account for every beneficiary, according to the agreement with the CACOVID Group, which monitored the process,”

“The warehouse in question is not State-owned and its usage was made available to the CACOVID group. The distribution was on-going but had to be halted due to protests, before the invasion of the warehouse today.

“For effective distribution of the food palliatives, groups such as Transport Unions, Ethnic Groups, Religious Associations, Artisans and Tradesmen Association, Marketmen and Women Association, People Living with Disabilities, Orphanages and Old Peoples’ Homes among others were being used as the distribution channels to their members.

“The State Government, however, regrets the invasion of the warehouse and appreciates the support offered by the CACOVID group to the citizenry of Lagos.”
