CHANGE: Nigeria vs South Africa Now Kicks Off 6pm in Uyo

Wednesday’s decisive Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualification match between Nigeria and South Africa will now commence at 6:00pm (Nigerian time), officials have confirmed.

“We got information that the match will now kick off at 6pm, and not 5pm as earlier slated,” the NFF’s Head of International, Bola Oyedode, said on Monday.

Nigeria’s hopes of qualification for the 2015 Afcon rest on the clash with already qualified Bafana Bafana at the magnificent Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo. A win for the three-time champions seals their passage into the group stages of the finals billed for Equatorial Guinea.
