Sevilla Land Liverpool’s Aspas on a Season-Long Loan

Liverpool striker Iago Aspas have joined Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla on a season-long loan.

Sevilla have been handed the right to buy the 26-year-old at the end of the 2014/15 season. with a three-year deal already in the frame.

Spaniard Aspas joined Liverpool from Celta Vigo for a fee of £7m last June but failed to impress, scoring just once in 14 matches- nine of them as substitute- for the ‘Reds’.

His move back to Spain is subject to passing a medical.

Liverpool have agreed a £75m deal with Barcelona for the sales of Louis Suarez, and are closing in on a £20m deal for Benfica’s Lazar Markovic.

On completion of Markovic’s deal, the Serbian would become their fourth signing following the arrivals of Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert from Southampton and Emre Can from Bayer Leverkusen.
