Job description Contract Manager

The Contract Manager manages, provides advice on and administers all activities concerned with contracts for works and services associated with oil & gas facilities projects carried out under various contract forms. The responsibilities of the Contract Manager will include but are not limited to the following:-

Requirements Contract Manager

 

  • Develop and implement Contract Administration and Supply Chain Management processes.
  • To manage a team of Contract Administrators and Supply Chain Management Specialists and ensure the daily administration and expediting of contracts through their lifecycles.
  • To ensure that all aspects of the contracts are compiled with an auditable manner and that the cost, schedule and HSE risks are minimized.
  • To ensure application of the best cost-effective Supply Chain strategies.
  • Ensure effective interface between All Project groups involved in the post award contract management and expediting including the Project Management, Legal, Contracts and Procurement, Logistics & Material Management.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the Contract Administation processes including contract handover, change management, payments, claims avoidance, contract close-out and lessons learned.
  • Ensure Contracts holders receive adequate level of support from the contract administration and supply chain specialists.
  • Manage relations with Contractors to ensure Contractor’s compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
  • Manage all post-award negotiations and dispute resolution process to ensure amicable and cost effective settlement of claims.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
