Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola has been told to prepare to hand over power come 2022 by the Osun State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The State chairman of the party, Dr Tosin Odeyemi, said this after the party was unveiled in Osogbo, on Tuesday.

The new party also warned the major opposition party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not consider fielding any candidate during the 2022 Governorship election.
The chairman of the party berated the parties that had governed the state for the underdevelopment of the state.
