Pay Our Four-Year Pending Gratuities, Rivers Pensioners Beg Wike

Pensioners in Rivers State have appealed to Governor Nyesom Wike-led government to pay their four years pension gratuities and arrears being owed.

This appeal was made in a statement made available to journalists on Monday in Port Harcourt by their spokesman, Mr. Lucky Ati.

The pensioners lamented that some of them had not received anything since five years ago (2015).

The pensioners also revealed that they “have written several letters to Governor Nyesom Wike to no avail.”

The pensioners thanked Wike for repealing the pension law and urged him to assist them out of their ‘pitiable living condition by paying their arrears.’
