SERAP Gives FG Seven-Day Ultimatum To Disclose Details Of Recovered Abacha Loot

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has issued a seven days ultimatum to the Federal Government to reveal the exact amount stolen by the former dictator, General Sani Abacha.

The human rights group expressed that failure to reveal the amount collected by the federal  government will result into a legal action.

The human rights group is also demanding details of spending of about $5bn returned loot since 1999. They said the details must include locations of projects, names of contractors and the World Bank’s roles.
