My Family Now Scattered In Relatives’ Houses: Buba Galadima

Buba Galadima, a former ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, says his family members are now “scattered” in houses of his relatives following the seizure of his residence by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria.

Galadima’s residence and company were seized by AMCON over N900m debts.

Galadima has described the seizure as witch-hunt, adding that while he travelled to Lagos State over the matter, his family, including his wife, children and grandchildren, were relocated to relatives’ houses in Abuja, Daily Trust reports.

“They (AMCON) have taken over the house and the family are scattered here and there with relatives. I’m in Lagos to see the lawyers who handled the matter and some other issues,” Daily Trust quoted him as saying.

“The Policemen that came were respectful and friendly. They were 30 before and we now see that they’ve been reduced to six,” Galadima said.
