3 Dead, 130 Persons Test Positive As Italy Battles Coronavirus

Health officials in Italy are struggling to explain how the country went from having just three cases of the deadly coronavirus to having many towns quarantined and over a hundred persons testing positive to the disease.

In early February, the country cancelled all flights to and from China but that hasn’t stopped the virus from arriving, as people were still able to access the country through stopovers in other countries.

As of Sunday, more than 50,000 people were not allowed to leave their towns, as the country began to grapple with the worst coronavirus outside of Asia.
