Cattle breeders under the auspices of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore have warned Southwest governors to withdraw their support for Western Nigeria Security outfit, ‘Operation Amotekun.’

Since the launch of the security outfit in the South West, mixed reactions have trailed it, with some groups expressing support, while others called for its halt.

The group, in an interview with PUNCH, expressed that the support of Southwest Governors for Operation Amotekun may hurt the Southwest’s chances of getting the Presidency in 2023.

The group also expressed its disappointment in the South-West academic community for supporting the outfit.

Rifle allegedly seized from drunk policeman (video)

A drunk policeman identified as Garba Salisu is currently the talk of social media.

Passersby who saw a drunk police officer carrying a gun, seized the gun from him then poured water on him to help revive him.

In a video shared online, people are seen surrounding the police officers and commenting about the fact that he was inebriated already at that time of the day.

A man is seen pouring a sachet of water on the policeman’s head.

Voices in the video are heard saying the policeman was seen at about 4pm on Saturday, Nov 28, at CBN Junction, close to Abuja Police Command Headquarters.

Boko Haram: Insecurity In Nigeria Has Reached Breaking Point Says Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has expressed that the insecurity in Nigeria has reached a breaking point.

He made this remark in reaction to the reported beheading of 43 farmers in Borno by suspected members of the Boko Haram sect on Saturday.

In a post on his Twitter page, Omokri condemned the gruesome killing of the farmers by the insurgent group.

He expressed that the insecurity situation in the country is leading to drifting apart of the nation.
