Manchester United missed the chance to close the gap on fourth-placed Chelsea after they were beaten two-nil by Burnley at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils had started the match on a front note before going down to a well-worked free-kick from their opponents deep into the second half.

The second half then began with the Red Devils chasing the game but were badly exposed at the back after committing more men forward in order to get back into the game.
