Actress Regina Chukwu Excited As Her Kids Get Into University

Nollywod actress, Regina Chukwu, is currently over the moon as her two kids have been admitted into the university.

Taking to her Instagram page, she shared the story of how she has been the only one shouldering their responsibilities.

Reports have it that since her husband passed on, she has refused to remarry stressing that her kids are enough source of joy for her.

She wrote:

Hey kiddos it’s your matriculation today and i cant but thank God for how far he has brought us, I am tearing up as I type this😩 it’s been a heck of a journey so far, I cant even begin to recollect, so I chose to count my blessings 🙏 from nursery school to Uni only me Haaa! God you are great 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 how I did it/ doing it I can’t even explain it 😲that is to show that my God won’t give you a head you can’t carry 🙏 okay these ones are the reasons I can’t buy Myself new cars or live that baby girl life for now🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the rate they suck money from me is alarming 😭😭😭😭 that I just scream into the air sometimes 😆 but you know what? IF I DONT DO IT FOR THEM, WHO WILL? So I dust off and face it each and every time 💪 we have learnt to cut our coats 🧥 according to our materials, we have learnt not to allow things around us or social media glitz or what other people are owing be our driving force but to find happiness Nd contentment in what we have and that is how we have come this far with praises Nd thanksgiving🙏🙏🙏🙏 Dear children don’t forget who you are and don’t lose yourselves chasing what is not… remember what I always tell you, YOU ARE REGINA’s CHILDREN. Don’t forget your source at any given time, be prayerful and hardworking then see God move mountains on your behalf (he promised and I know he won’t fail)

Three Nigerian television broadcasting media houses have been fined a sum of nine million Naira (N9,000,000) by the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC over the coverage of the nationwide #EndSARS protest against police brutality.

Channels Television, AIT and Arise TV were each awarded an N3m fine over “unprofessional coverage” of the EndSARS protests across the nation.

The declaration was announced during a press conference on Monday, October 26 at the federal capital territory, Abuja, by the acting Director-General of the NBC, Prof. Armstrong Idachaba.

Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has described the plan of the Federal Government to export electricity to Chad as absurd.

In a report circulated by PUNCH, it is believed that the federal government is considering supplying electricity to the Republic of Chad following a recent request by the neighboring country.

This follows a statement by the government-owned Transmission Company of Nigeria that a meeting was held last week to discuss the possibilities of connecting the neighboring country.

The report has led to widespread condemnation of the government by Nigerians, querying how a country that doesn’t have stable electricity plans to export the little it generates.

Reacting to the report, the former lawmaker wrote:

“The idea of the FG exporting electricity to Chad in the midst of our ‘national darkness’ is absurd.”

NASS Will Secure Justice For Police Brutality Victims, Ensure Five-Point Demands Are Implemented – Lawan

Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has assured that the National Assembly will get justice for victims of police brutality.

Lawan said the legislature will collaborate with the executive to ensure that rights abuses by personnel of the disbanded Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) are probed.

The lawmaker, in a statement on Monday, noted that the government has shown a commitment to implement the five-point demands of the #EndSARS protesters.

“I want to seize this opportunity to re-assure our youths that the National Assembly will collaborate with the Executive to ensure justice for victims of misconduct and rights abuses by personnel of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police.

“In the same vein, to discourage impunity, we will insist that the perpetrators of the alleged abuses be prosecuted and sanctioned as appropriate.”

He condoled with the victims of the reprehensible violence and criminality witnessed in the last few days in many parts of the country.

“I send my condolences to the families of our security and law enforcement agents who have made the supreme sacrifices in the course of their service to their fatherland.

He, however, condemned the arson, violence, and looting in several parts of the country.

“I also call for a thorough investigation of every criminal act that we have witnessed in the past few weeks with a view to bringing to justice all those elements who have so callously destroyed public and private property”.
