Nigerian sex therapist Jaruma and disqualified Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha

Reactions have trailed Jaruma Empire’s N1m gift to Warri comedian, Mr Jollof for threatening to beat up Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut for trash-talking disqualified Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha.

Mr Jollof had condemned Tunde Ednut for being so bitter towards Tacha instead of helping her grow.

He described Ednut as someone who failed in all the entertainment areas, he has ever ventured into.

The comment pleased Tacha’s biggest supporter, Jaruma so much, she sent Mr Jollof one million naira. An act that has stirred up social media reactions.

”What’s going on?” – Cardi B shows concern for Nigerians amid #ENDSARS protest

International rapper, Cardi B addressed the critical situation in Nigeria during her latest Instagram live session.

It was learnt that security agents had opened fire at unarmed #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Tollgate, Lagos on Tuesday, leaving many injured and others dead.

In a couple of videos sighted on social media, the American singer lent her voice to #EndSARS campaign as she stated that Nigerians are hardworking people and they are not lazy.

The mother of one also said that the people make up the country and she urged the government to put an end to police brutality in Nigeria since the citizens have been clamoring for it.

Cardi B said she had a nice time during her visit in 2019 and it makes her so sad to see the current state of the country.

More Than 120,000 People Signed Petition For The UK Government To Sanction Buhari’s Government Over Human Right Abuse

It has been reported that the petition asking the United Kingdom to sanction the federal government and public officials for human rights abuses over the #EndSARS protest has received over 120,000 signatures.

Over 120,000 people sign petition for the UK government to sanction the Nigerian Government over alleged human right abuses

As at 8:31 a.m on Wednesday October 21, 123, 222 people had signed the petition. The petition titled “Implement sanctions against the Nigerian Government and officials”.

It reads;

The Government should explore using the new sanctions regime that allows individuals and entities that violate human rights around the world to be targeted, to impose sanctions on members of the Nigerian government and police force involved in any human rights abuses by the Nigerian police.

There have been deeply concerning reports of a Nigerian police force unit (SARS) engaging in illegal activities and human rights abuses, and there have also been reports of police firing at protestors calling for SARS to be disbanded.

Deploying sanctions would provide accountability for and be a deterrent to anyone involved in violations of human rights.
