South-East Governors have dared Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to come through with his threats to attack them and other South-East leaders abroad.

This was made known by the Governors in a statement on Tuesday night, signed by its chairman and Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi.

Following the attack of former deputy senate president, Ike Ekwereamdu in Germany on Saturday, IPOB had few hours later claimed they carried out the attack.

A follow-up broadcast by Kanu through the group’s Radio station, Radio Biafra, corroborated the earlier statement and maintained that the Southeast Governors and other Igbo politicians must receive Ekweremmadu’s treatment any time they are seen in public abroad.

In their response, the Governors said Kanu’s threats are well noted, adding that the IPOB leader who is fighting for his self-interest in the guise of fighting for Ndigbo would soon be exposed.
