Slain Catholic Priest: No One Is Immune From Insecurity Ravaging Nigeria — Atiku

 

Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), says no one is “immune from this ravaging epidemic”, while reacting to the assassination of a Catholic priest, Rev Fr Offu in Enugu.

Atiku, a former vice president who is still in court to challenge the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23rd election, said this in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday.

The former vice president extended his condolences to the Offu family and the Catholic Church in Nigeria, adding that the murder is a reminder that no one is immune from the insecurity ravaging the country.

He tweeted, The killing of Rev. Fr. Paul Offu in Enugu State is yet another reminder that no one is immune from this ravaging epidemic. My deepest condolences to the Offu family and the Catholic Church in Nigeria. May his soul Rest In Peace.
