Attackers of Ekweremadu Must Be Punished For Shameful Act: Abike Dabiri

The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has condemned in entirety the attack on Ike Ekweremadu, former Deputy Senate president, in Nureberg, Germany.

The attack was carried out by some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), a group proscribed as a terrorists group by the federal government in 2017.

In a tweet on Sunday, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Chairman revealed that some attackers of the former deputy Senate president have already be arrested.

She said she hopes that the attackers face “consequences for their shamefully pathetic actions.”

She tweeted: I condemn in its entirety the attack on former DSP Ike Ekeremadu at an event in Nuremberg . Germany ,nobly put together by Ndi Igbo Germany. where he was attacked. I hope the culprits, some of whom have been arrested, will face consequences for their shamefully pathetic actions.
