Nigerians have fired lethal shots at Lauretta Onochie, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on social media, after saying Seyi Makinde, Governor of Oyo state was following the footsteps of Buhari when he declared his assets. Onochie said the governor, who emerged on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) did what the president and his vice, Yemi Osinbajo did when they assumed office in 2015, even though the constitution doesn’t compel that it must be published.

A final year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), identified as Ephraim Imaghodora has reportedly committed suicide over his poor academic performances. It was learnt that the student, who was a student of the Department of Actuarial Science, died after he fell down from the stairs of the Faculty of Arts.
