“Minimum Wage Has Become A Dangling Piece Of Meat” – Shehu Sani

Activist, Shehu Sani has commented on the failure of the federal government to implement the minimum wage increase as it promised to workers.

Shehu Sani, the former Nigerian Senator has compared Nigeria’s minimum wage to a piece of meat. In a Tweet, he referred to it as “Dangling meat”.

The minimum was signed by President Buhari in April and he promised that it will be paid before workers day. However months after, the new minimum wage has not been implemented.

The former senator expressed on Twitter that the minimum wage issue is being used to hold workers to ransom.
