Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to reports that President Buhari may be considering the proscription of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, (IMN).
Femi-Fani-KayodeThere have been rumours that the President might ban the Islamic movement, following the bloody clash between men of the Nigerian Police and Shiite members on Monday in Abuja.
The protesting Shi’ites were demanding the release of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, who has been in detention since December 2015.
Reacting to the reports making the rounds, Fani-Kayode posits that banning the group would be a big mistake.
