Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and a Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) chieftain has shared that Nigeria’s debt has doubled since Buhari took over.
Speaking via his Twitter handle, Reno said Nigeria’s debt which was N11 trillion when Buhari took over in 2015 is now N24 trillion as at today. He added that while former President Goodluck Jonathan built 14 universities and 165 schools, Buhari has not built any despite the debt profile of the country.
Nigeria's debt has doubled under @Buhari from ₦11 trillion in 2015 to ₦24 trillion today, yet Nigerians sufferings have tripled. Where did the money go? GEJ built 14 universities and 165 schools, @MBuhari built NONE. he is 72. It is you and your kids that will repay his debt.
