Robyn Rihanna Fenty,aka Rihannad has sued her dad for stealing her ‘fenty’ brand name. The ‘Umbrella’ singer dragged her dad, Ronald Fenty and two business partners fto a U.S. federal court in Los Angeles on Tuesday over allegations of fraud and false advertising over his Fenty Entertainment talent and production company.
According to the suit file,the Barbados singer had repeatedly warned her father and his associates that they have no authority to use her name – or speak on Rihanna’s behalf, Ronald Fenty and his business partners had continued to misrepresent an affiliation with her.
Rihanna, who uses the Fenty trademark to sell her cosmetics, lingerie and sneakers lines, is asking the court to issue an injunction to stop Ronald, her dad from using the Fenty name, and an unspecified amount of damages.
