Chelsea became the first team to beat Manchester City in the domestic league this season by putting two un replied goals past them yesterday at Stamford bridge. The Blues who had lost as much as two league games in their last three matches were written of during the prematch analysis by pundits.
They looked destined for another defeat during the early exchanges as the defending champions, Manchester city, dominated possessions and looked dangerous every time the break.
However, N’golo Kante’s first half screamer ensured the Blues were ahead in the first half before David Luis thumbing header from a corner kick pur the icing on the cake deep into the second half.
The visibly happy coach, Sarri, then revealed at the end of the match that his team deserved the victory and was also full of praises for Kante, who scored the opening goal.
