Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday, released the names of members of its Presidential Campaign Council for the 2019 elections.
Take a look:
President Muhamamdu Buhari and Bola Tinubu, co-Chairman.
Dep Chairs: VP Yemi Osinbajo and Adams Oshiomhole
DG: Amaechi
Dep DGs: Senator Mamora and Waziri Bulama.
Directors include Nuha Ribadu, Festus Keyamo, Wale Edun,Babatunde Fashola, Hadiza Bala Usman.
Special Advisory committee to Mr. president’ include Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola.
While some Nigerians have hailed the decision to include the names of those billionaire businessmen, others have criticised the decision saying they should have remained neutral being businessmen.
Take a look at some of the reactions
Dangote’s wealth is on the decline. This one he’s openly supporting Buhari and is in APC presidential campaign council. He’s playing his last card. Because he knows that his monopoly in many industries will be broken should Atiku win. He jumped into the fray risking everything.

Entrepreneurs like Dangote who benefits from any government in power ought to remain neutral. Now he’s gone all out to support the failed Buhari’s administration. I urge millions of Atiku supporters and well meaning Nigerians to #BoycottDangote products.

If APC like let them get Warren Buffet into Buhari's campaign team, baba will not win 2019's election..
So the storylines of Dangote and Otedollar supporting Buhari means nothing apparently..— Obong Ekpe says #EndSarsNow (@Ody_johnson) December 28, 2018
May God save Dangote and Femi Otedola's businesses…
Whatever Buhari touches, he destroys. Whatever touches Buhari…
