Excuse us, you have failed – Fayose to Buhari

Immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has said that, President Muhammadu Buhari, indicted his government by saying that the “economy is in bad shape.”

The former governor was reacting to a statement in which president Buhari was quoted to have said that, the Nigerian economy is in a bad state, and all hands must be on deck to savage it, during his meeting with governors of the 36 States, on Friday at the presidential villa.

According to Fayose, Buhari has spent over three years as president of the county, and by his(Buhari) assessment, the economy is still down, which invariably means that, the president has failed. For this, Fayose says the president should excuse Nigerians and leave power, he said via Twitter on Friday evening.

He wrote:

If after spending three and half years as President, you are still complaining that the “economy is in bad shape,” isn’t that a clear indictment of your own govt?

If by your own assessment, you have failed, shouldn’t you just excuse us?

  1. If in three (3) years alone the economy is in bad shape, how much more another four (4) years. It then mean that the economy will not only be worst but will be in doom. If we could survived in this Nation for sixteen (16) good years during the PDP regime and just for 3 years nothing is working and yet will can not leave Above Poverty Complain under APC. Nigerians will not accept that, we are too young to be fooled. Nigerians be wise and let us rescue the Nation from APC government.
