ThisDay Newspaper has come under several criticisms after it used the photo of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, in the place of the late former military governor of North Central State, also named Abba Kyari.
The former military governor of North Central State, Abba Kyari, was said to have has passed on at the age of 80, after a brief illness.
The news platform has been called out by many Nigerians on social media over what they termed ‘lazy journalism’, whereas some critics have accused the newspaper firm, of deliberating ‘killing’ Buhari’s Chief of staff.
