President Muhammadu Buhari had walked 800m from a prayer ground to his residence in Daura, a feat presidency claims ticks Buhari as fit to recontest in 2019.
The statement has continued to generate sentiments as politicians and ordinary Nigerians haven’t stopped supporting or blasting presidency for the statement.
latest to react to the statement is governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state. According to him, if walking 800m is now the criteria for being president, then the Athletic Federation of Nigeria(AFN) should be one to decide our next president.
Fayose, who had tweeted this via his twitter handle on the wee hours of Thursday got the bashing of his life from Nigerians.
They mocked in for his neck, and asked if he still uses a neck collar, some even said the out-going governor would have been in pains, if he tried to walk that distance. See reactions below:
As it stands, PMB at his age, looks more healthier than you.
