Rapper Illbliss Comes Under Fire For Saying Burna Boy ‘Is The Greatest’

Published

Nigerian rapper, Illbliss, has been made to feel the heat after his comment on Burna Boy’s greatness did not go down well with some people.

The rapper, whose real name is Tobechukwu Melvin Ejiofor, had tweeted in favour of the two-time Grammy nominated artist.

He wrote:

“2 Grammy nods in 2 years. Are we finally settled on who the greatest is? Big congratulations my bro @burnaboy. You are beyond a spaceship. Your craft is second to none.”

Going under his post to drag him for his opinion, a few Twitter users reminded the music entrepreneur cum actor that the Grammys does not necessarily confer greatness on an artist.

The rapper, however, stuck to his guns and replied:

“Your business and opinion totally. Still the most recognized music trophy in the world.”

Simi and her daughter, Adejare

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simi has penned a beautiful letter to her daughter, Adejare as she turns 6-months-old.

November 30 marked six months since the singer and her husband, Adekunle Gold welcomed their little platter of feet. Taking to her Instagram page, Simi posted an adorable photo of her herself and her daughter along with the lovely message.

The first time mum noted that she is excited for her daughter to grow up so they can do fun stuff together.

In her words;

“My baby. My daughter. The love of my life. This feisty little chocolate princess is 6 months old today. God is so great.

You make me giddy Adejare. You changed my life and turned my Spirit inside out. Giving you life (in collaboration with God and your daddy) gave me new life, and is the most spiritual thing I ever did in all my life. You’re everything to me. I’ve never felt a love so complete and thorough and protective and jealous and unconditional. They tell you you’re gonna love your baby so much, but you don’t know how much until you love your baby.

I’m emotional because you’re growing up too fast and some days I want time to freeze, so I can soak up more of these moments, but I’m also excited for you to grow up so we can have cute, silly conversations. So we can go on mommy/daughter dates. So we can have slumber parties. So you can confide in me. So we can pray together. You’re everything I asked for, and then so much more. You complete our little family. Thank you for your gummy smiles and for all the words you think you’re saying. I hear you. I love you too much Deja. Happy half birthday

– Mommy”
