Former Manchester United Attacker, Mkhitaryan, who switched to Arsenal in a deal that saw Alexis Sanchez headed to Manchester United from Arsenal has come out to defend his coach, Unai Emery.

Emery who has come under intense criticism for loosing his first two premiership matches of the season after he took over from Arsene Wenger. The defeat at Stamford Bridge made Emery become the first Arsenal Coach to lose  his first two matches since Steven Burtenshaw, who lost the first three games in 1986.

Mkhitaryan who scored Arsenal’s  first goal of the season when they sought a come back at Chelsea came out this morning to defend the coach by saying the following.

   “Everyone has their own opinion. We know very well what we are playing for and how we have to play.

“If we are just going to kick the ball up front and wait for God to give us a chance to score, it’s not necessary.

“The only thing we have to do is to work hard, believe in ourselves and use the chances we create to score goals.”

“We are creating chances. Maybe we are not as good to score at the moment but I think it’s just the first few games.
