Beast of No Nation’ movie star, now begs for alms in Ghana .

Young Ghanaian actor, Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, popularly known as Strika, who co-starred in the “Beast of No Nation” movie says he never received any payment for his role even though he was told someone was holding the money in trust for him.

Strika alleges that after shooting the movie that that pushed Abraham Attah into the limelight, a producer – Kofi Robert – informed him that he would hold the money in trust by depositing it in a bank account until he turned 18.

However, but that hasn’t happened even though he is approaching 19.

Strika, who now hawks and begs on the streets of Accra, says neither his 1% share of the profit gained by the American service provider, Netflix, has reached him.

“After the movie, I was to be paid 1% of the profit made from the movie. They told me it’s in the bank but I am yet to see the money,” he explained.

Strika has also revealed that his relationship with his co-actor, Abraham Attah hasn’t been the same ever since he relocated to the USA.

“The way he [Abraham Attah] now behaves is not good. The way he talks; the way he replies is not good. He will be shouting on you and all stuff, I don’t know if it’s because he has travelled outside [sic],” he said.

Strika also disclosed that he was paid ¢10,000 for “Jungle Justice”, a movie he starred in after “Beast of No Nation”, but a manager by the name, Mawuko, used all the monies to buy him “clothes and shoes”.

“Mawuko used the money to buy suits and other things the money was not given to me directly; I was only told…! Strika disclosed.

In an interview with Serwaa Amihere of GhOneTv, Strika revealed that all the kids who shot the movie have been well taken care of except him, in terms of payment. . . He further stated that “ I was told i was paid 30,000 but i don't know if it was in cedis or dollars. I was a child then, so the producer by name Zoey, opened the account for me. . . I have stopped schooling because it's difficult for me hence I want to learn a trade, so I left Cape-coast to Accra. My parents are dead so I stay with my grand mum who takes care of me".

Instagram influencer, Miss Okeoghene Camille Gift, in an interview with Daddy Freeze, opened up about being abused by rapper, Lil Frosh.

In the candid interview, the Instagram influencer spoke on the abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-boyfriend.

Information Nigeria recalls that photos of her bruised face had surfaced following the assault which the rapper denied ever happened.

The young lady recalled a particular incident where the rapper stripped her naked, beat her up, recorded her and threatened to ruin her reputation on social media.

Gift said that her ex-boyfriend also threatened to kill her and he mentioned that he is very sure that his former record label boss, Davido would bail him out.

In her words;

“He was like do you think I cannot get away with anything? I will kill you right here and you will just die for nothing because Davido is going to get me out of it”, she said.
