Tinubu fires at Obasanjo during his 66th birthday celebration, calls him political letter writer

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his 66th birthday celebration, marked by his colloquium on Thursday, March 29, has slammed detractors and critics of the Buhari-led administration.

Tinubu said that Nigerians should be patient with the president and cooperate with his government to effect the change it promised. He made this comment on Thursday, March 29, At the Expo Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.

At the event, attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, governors, ministers, members of the National Assembly, and other dignitaries, the celebrant gave some incisive remarks on the state of the nation and the sincere intention of the presidency to move Nigeria forward.

He condemned those who see nothing good in the leadership and criticise it through different means. He stated: “Be patient with us. There is a clear understanding here; there is a difference between us and them, night and day. I am happy the president has changed the course of the ship of this country. We are reinventing and redirecting Nigeria.”
