De Magnus preaches against alcohol abuse with Ogogoro

Fast rising singer, De Magnus, is unhappy with the way alcohol is abused and has aired his opinion through his hit song, ‘Ogogoro.’ In a chat with Saturday Beats, he said he was not happy about the way his peer abuse drugs especially alcohol all in the name of catching fun or for motivation to speak to a lady.

He said, “I composed the song basically to speak against the way guys sometimes feel they need alcohol especially the local dry gin popularly known as ogogoro to boost their courage in order to talk to a lady. I am also unhappy with the way my mates are abusing drugs and alcohol all in the name of having a good time.”

Speaking on some of his mentors in the industry, the young lad mentioned the likes of Wande Coal and Burna Boy. “I look up to a lot of people with amazing talents like Wande Coal, Burna Boy and so many others. I also get motivated by things around me in my day-to-day life or experience in general,” he said.
