Revellers were in the Playa de las Americas area of the island around 2.30am when they plunged into the basement.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the casualties were taken to nearby hospitals.
Two have been left with serious injuries, local media reports.
Several people have suffered broken legs and broken angles.
The area is popular with British tourists but it is unknown if any are among the injured.

A spokesman for an emergency services co-ordination centre said: “We received an alert that the floor of a disco had given way in an area of approximately four square metres.
“After collapsing, the people who were inside plunged about a floor’s height into the basement.”
The incident is said to have occurred at the Butterfly Disco Pub, which describes itself as a gay club.
It is located on the shopping centre on the main strip, Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina, in the municipality of Adeje.
