Rapper Fetty Wap was arrested in Manhattan, New York, this morning for allegedly driving under the influence.
According to New York’s Pix 11, the rapper was speeding on the Gowanus Expressway in Brooklyn at around 1 a.m, when the officers of the New York Police Department caught up with him. He reportedly gave the officers an expired New Jersey driver’s license when they pulled him over, and when they conducted a sobriety test on him, he failed.
The officers hauled him to jail where he has now been slammed with 15 charges, including reckless endangerment, drag racing, DUI, driving without a valid license, unsafe lane changing, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, following too close, and speeding.
This is the first time the rapper, who was robbed in March, would be arrested for drunk driving. It is unclear what the punishment would be if he is arraigned and found guilty by a court.
Rapper had yet to be released as at press time.
