“Release his corpse if you have killed him”- Nnamdi Kanu’s brother tells army

Published

on

Emmanuel, younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), has asked the army to produce the corpse of the Biafra agitator if he has been killed.

Kanu and his parents have not been seen in public since the military raided their Afarakwu residence in Abia state on September 14.

Speaking on behalf of the family on Tuesday, Emmanuel, Kanu’s younger brother, said he strongly believed his brother fell into the hands of troops.

“It is either they (soldiers) captured him or killed him when they attacked our house. If they captured him, they should release him to the police, and if they have killed him, they should produce the corpse because he was last seen moments before the raid,” he said.

However, the army has denied keeping Kanu in its custody.

A responder to the call put through to one of the telephone lines which Operation Python Dance released to the public dismissed the notion of Kanu being held.

“Kanu is not in our custody,” the individual with a hoarse voice blurted out when contacted on the telephone.

Kanu’s brother said the family had been searching for the IPOB leader and his parents for two weeks without making any headway.

He called on the international community to prevail on the army to produce his parents and the IPOB leader.

He also denounced the “desecration of his father’s palace”, describing it as a dent on the democratic posture of the nation.

The Army should tell the world the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu because their continued denial of him being in their custody does not in any way answer d question of his where about. Their army stormed Umuahka and invaded Eze I.O. Kanu’s residence, rained bullets in a battle like attack because d mandate of their blood thirsty monster commander in chief was to “get him dead or alife”. For dat reason, the army, police and DSS since whose joint and combined invasion of the Royal Palace at Afara Ibeku, The Eze, his wife and son Nnamdi Kanu’s whereabout has not been known. Let the army and their cohorts tell the world where the Eze, his wife and son are. The know where they kdpt them.

Those people following Nnamdi Kanu re bland and can not see beyond their nose,If you really want to leave Nigeria they should first asked their leaders in the national Assembly the minister’s and all political office holders to relinquished their offices. Then Yoruba and Hausa’s will know they really want to go. If you ask Hausa’s in Oyo state to relocate to their state origin they will written a month, Asks Ibos in the same Oyo state to relocate they cant,Even if they try to relocate it will take them 20 years and many of them will run mad because of what the invests here and there throughout Nigeria. Why do you want to destroy the home you build? Why?Why do you want Igbo children to die of hunger and gun again? Late Odumegu Ojukwu tried it and failed. Is KANU stronger than Ojukwu? This is Treason and Felony KANU can hardly escape the penalty

so now Mr bashir now understands what southerns and Christians go through in the hands of northeners and muslin. Do you not know how many Christians and churches you have burnt. don’t call kalu a fool he knows what he want for his people. northeners and its leaders have taken the rest of Nigerians for a fool for too long. the game is over. if buhari went after boko haram with the same speed at which he followed up kalu, boko haram would have been a thing of the past. Did you see the tanks? its like north Korea’s show of military power. Buhari you should be a shame. Do you think you are still in the military.
