Photos: Actress Juliet Mgborukwe-Ojukwu and hubby welcome their second child



Juliet and her hubby, Chima Ojukwu, have welcomed their second child, a girl. Juliet gave birth in a US hospital. They have named their daughter Chidinma Elite Ojukwu’ aka (C.E.O). They already have a son together. Congrats to them! Announcing the birth of her daughter, Juliet on her IG page wrote

“The daughter I asked God for is finally here 1 Samuel 1:27… God is so good to me just as our daughter’s name says ‘Chidinma Elite Ojukwu’ aka (C.E.O)… Thank Y’all for the prayers and well wishes, I indeed carried her and birthed her like the Hebrew women??. To @obyjuks @luv_em_kiddos @i_am_nulisThanks for the early gifts, your little fashionista is ready to rock all the beautiful outfits???.. To my son Sir’CEO
Am sorry for the countless times you try to lean on mummy’s tummy for comfort but I pushed you away, sometimes you get mad cry but still turn around and give me a big kiss #Priceless??you can come lay on my tummy all you want now baby it is all yours??. Comedian Basketmouth Talks About His New Album; Opens Up On Why He Initially Switched From Music To Comedy

Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth sat down for a chat with and he talked about why he initially switched from music to comedy.

The comedian, whose real name is Bright Okpocha, recently released an album dubbed ‘Yabasi’ which also serves as a soundtrack to his new comedy series, Papa Benji.

On a new episode of #PulseOneOnOne, the comedian revealed that he started off as a musician before switching to comedy. The comedian noted that ‘music’ has always been his first love. The father of three recounted an experience he had back when he was still in school and he mentioned that he belonged to a clique of six. According to him, they called themselves ‘the psychopaths’ and that they used to do the opening act for the now-defunct music group, Plantashun Boiz. The comedian revealed that he had remixed a song by Fela which his friends loved it.

The comedian noted that he presented the song to a much bigger audience but some of them rubbished it so he began to tackle him. The singer said that two of his friends encouraged him to go into comedy after the incident. Basketmouth also disclosed how his stage name was birthed.

Davido’s ‘Holy Ground’ Featuring Nicki Minaj Becomes His Highest-Charting Song On Billboard



BIG 28 On The Way -Davido Gets Excited Ahead Of His 28th Birthday

‘Holy Ground’, a track on Davido‘s latest album ‘A Better Time’ which features Nicki Minaj has become his highest charting song on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart.

It has peaked at number two after two weeks on the chart. This is not the singer’s first song to peak at the same number on the Billboard chart.

His 2017 hit single ‘Fall’ has also peaked at the same number on the chart.

Information Nigeria recalls the song got leaked on Twitter before the album was officially released.  This did not deter Davido from promoting the album. Upon its release, Nicki Minaj took to her Instagram page to congratulate him for taking Nigeria to the world through his music.

The nominations list for the 2020 MOBO Awards is out. After going on a brief hiatus in 2017, the awards is back to reward music artists of black origin.

In the category of Best African Act, Nigerian musicians who have been nominated are Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Fireboy DML, Rema, Adekunle Gold, and Wizkid. This has been confirmed from the official Twitter handle of the awards.

They are all up against South Africa’s Master KG, Nigerian boy-band from East London, NSG, Ivorian-born Afro B, and Ghana’s Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

Tiwa Savage is the only female Nigerian artist nominated in the category.
