According to a Facebook user, Humphrey Ikechukwu Egonu, an unemployed young man, Mr Jovi Ishaya Nok, returned a lost phone estimated to about N70k to the owner yesterday, 1st of August in Kaduna.

The user, identified to be a Nigerian Lecturer recounted how he lost his phone while jogging yesterday and also shared a picture of the man.

He wrote:

Friends, Nigeria is blessed with kindhearted people.
I set out for my routine gymnasium this morning, hoping to air online, my daughters’ (VIRTUOUS and PUREHEART) Birthday; only to lost my phone in a keke.
It was momentarily miserable, for a proud dad to lost his phone on his daughters’ birthday.
When all hope was lost, I decided to simply dial the number again, after it was initially switched off, alas, I got a voice.
A guy found the phone alone my jogging route but decided to sell it at Makarfi Plaza in Kaduna here. He met his friend to direct him but his friend felt contrarily! It was his friend who switched on the phone to get my call. He insisted on giving the phone worth N70,000 to the owner. He had already received calls from a well wisher to receive the phone from him. He wasn’t even angry that the well wishers called him a thief, according to him! INCREDIBLE!
In delightful fashion, we had to express ourselves at the bank! He doesn’t even have a phone, as his was stolen!
This guy is from KADUNA STATE but has no job. He deserves enormous commendations for his huge sense of honesty and integrity.
His name is JOVI ISHAYA NOK.
Never mind our politicians, NIGERIA is blessed with magnanimous people.
