Drama as 2 Men are Nabbed for Defiling Underage Girls in Aba, Abia State

Two men have landed in really serious trouble after allegedly defiling underage girls in an Abia State community.
Two men who have been identified as Chibueze Agunwa and Ugochukwu Oleka, have been arrested by the Aba personnel of Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Aba Central Police Station (CPS) for defiling two underage girls.
According to The Nation, Agunwa, a resident of Osunkwo Triangle road, Aba was said to have forcefully r*ped a 5-year-old girl on April 22, he was arrested on May 8 when police arrested him through a tip off.
Report has it that Oleka of Iroanusi road was arrested after the family of the 13year-old victim reported to the police that their daughter was raped in their house by him (Oleka).
According to police, pregnancy test carried on the victim shows that she is two months pregnant.
The suspects would soon be arraigned before the court as soon as possible.
In another development, the police in Aba have smashed a gang of robbers that specialized in snatching exotic cars.
It was gathered that a Toyota Highlander with registration number Abia SSM 631 TP and a Lexus RX300 SUV with registration number Abuja ABC 472 LK were also recovered from the gang’s hideout while the gang members were being trailed by the police.
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Geoffrey Ogbonna told reporters that the police have launched manhunt on the fleeing gang and urged members of the public to provide the police with useful information on the activities of hoodlums in their area.
Ogbonna added that the police in the state were committed in riding criminal out of the state and warned those who are thinking of going into crime to have a rethink and look for a legitimate work to do, stressing that the police would not fold their arms to watch unscrupulous elements come to disrupt the peace the state is experiencing at the moment.

#LekkiMassacre: CNN Dares Nigeria Government, Updates Second Report (Video)

The Cable News Network, CNN seems not done with the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government with the television channel releasing another report on the shooting at the Lekki toll gate during the End SARS protests.

Recall that the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, called out CNN over its report on the incident.

He added that CNN was biased in its report and needs to be sanctioned.

The Minister also addressed a letter to the management of CNN in Atlanta.

The network, however, on Tuesday released the second report with more damning footage showing soldiers shooting at unarmed protesters on October 20, 2020.

The second report also shows the Commander, 81 Division, Brig.Gen Ahmed Taiwo, admitting before the judicial panel in Lagos that military men had live ammunition in their weapons while at the tollgate.

CNN also noted that the statement of Brig.Gen Taiwo contradicts that of the Minister who had claimed last week that the army fired blank bullets.

It was also revealed in the new report, the moment when protesters were running as soldiers open fire at the tollgate.
