Vin Diesel, The Rock reconsigns after huge clash

Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, called out a few of his ‘candy ass’ co-stars in a shocking video while filming the latest instalment which led to loads of speculation about trouble on set.

In a shocking post, The Rock wrote: ‘This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em.

‘My male co-stars, however, are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.’

Then TMZ claimed that Vin abruptly stormed off the set after wrapping his final scenes.

Now sources have told TMZ that both Hollywood giants have met privately and resolved their egos differences.

Both of them are expected to return for the ninth instalment of the hugely popular franchise.

An insider has claimed that the pair had clashed over ‘real estate’. No, not the type where you have 2 and a half bathrooms (what is that anyway?), but who has the most time on screen, the best action scenes etc.

The source claims that it became a huge issue between the two stars but now The Rock has conceded that Vin is top dog and is the number one on the call sheet.

But before anyone gets carried away, this isn’t about the money because both stars rake in a whole lot of cash from this franchise so it’s not surprising that they put their alleged feud to bed.

Fast & Furious 8 follows Vin Diesel’s Dom, who ends up going rogue and betraying his family after being manipulated by a mysterious woman, played by Charlize Theron.

The entire movie soon escalates into nuclear warfare and global domination but, as we called it in our review, its a ‘consistently thrilling ride of one-liners and obnoxious engines’ just don’t go looking for logic or reason. As the new boy on set, Scott Eastwood admitted that there was ‘ a bit of healthy hazing’ but that ‘they really welcomed (him) with open arms, and that was really nice that spoke volumes about their character as human beings’. So he ignored the ‘feud’ then?
