Nigerian R n’ B singer, Banky W who revealed some days ago about his type of woman in a recent interview has made a shocking revelation regarding the music industry.

The singer whose Lekki house was involved in a fire incident some weeks ago took to his social media page to talk about weed and other hard drugs in the music industry.

Banky W in reaction to a post shared online banning weed and other hard drugs in an establishment noted that about 75 percent of the music business had been shut down with the move.

In reaction to the notice which reads: “Please be advised that smoking of WEED or taking of any HARD DRUGS in the rooms are highly prohibited with consequences such as automatic checkout of being handed over to law enforcement agency,” the singer wrote: “Lol now this means 75% of the music business can’t stay here.”

International rapper, Cardi B addressed the critical situation in Nigeria during her latest Instagram live session.

It was learnt that security agents had opened fire at unarmed #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Tollgate, Lagos on Tuesday, leaving many injured and others dead.

In a couple of videos sighted on social media, the American singer lent her voice to #EndSARS campaign as she stated that Nigerians are hardworking people and they are not lazy.

The mother of one also said that the people make up the country and she urged the government to put an end to police brutality in Nigeria since the citizens have been clamoring for it.

Cardi B said she had a nice time during her visit in 2019 and it makes her so sad to see the current state of the country.

More Than 120,000 People Signed Petition For The UK Government To Sanction Buhari’s Government Over Human Right Abuse

It has been reported that the petition asking the United Kingdom to sanction the federal government and public officials for human rights abuses over the #EndSARS protest has received over 120,000 signatures.

As at 8:31 a.m on Wednesday October 21, 123, 222 people had signed the petition. The petition titled “Implement sanctions against the Nigerian Government and officials”.

It reads;

The Government should explore using the new sanctions regime that allows individuals and entities that violate human rights around the world to be targeted, to impose sanctions on members of the Nigerian government and police force involved in any human rights abuses by the Nigerian police.

There have been deeply concerning reports of a Nigerian police force unit (SARS) engaging in illegal activities and human rights abuses, and there have also been reports of police firing at protestors calling for SARS to be disbanded.

Deploying sanctions would provide accountability for and be a deterrent to anyone involved in violations of human rights.
