1,941 people float on Argentina lake all for World Record

Nearly 2,000 people joined hands and floated atop a lake in Argentina to break a Guinness World Record for a human “free-floating line.”

A Guinness adjudicator confirmed 1,941 people formed the “free-floating line” in Buenos Aires’ saltwater Lake Epecuen Sunday.

The participants were required to join hands and float on their backs for 30 seconds.

The record-keeping agency said the previous record involved 634 participants and was set in 2014 in Taiwan.
