What was expected to be a close encounter ended in a one sided result as Tottenham Hotspur trounced Watford 4-1 away from home to move to third on the Premier League table.
Dele Alli, who has been in stunning form grabbed a brace yet again and striker, Harry Kane scored a brace also to take his tally for Tottenham to 59. At this rate, if Kane keeps this up, he will definitely end up in the history books of Spurs.
With thirteen shots on target in the first-half alone, Tottenham’s dominance of the game was total and should probably have scored some more goals. Kane opened the scoring just moments after after Dele Alli’s struck the crossbar and completed his brace just six minutes later in the 33rd minute.
Younes Kaboul scored Watford’s late consolation goal in added time.
